BID OPENING DATE: Tuesday, April 11th, 2023

The bid for the above-referenced project was publicly opened on April 11th,

2023, at 10:00 AM. Present was John Adair – Director of Public Works, Jeremy

Liggett (Consensus Construction), and Sheri Medina (Town Clerk).

Director Adair gave last call at 10:00 AM and announced that two bids were

received. They are lump sum bids for the complete scope of work detailed in the

specifications.

Bid #1 – Consensus Construction & Consulting $489,826.00

Bid #2 – Palmetto Corp of Conway

$611,894.00

Director Adair advised all present that the bids would be examined for

adherence to specifications, responsiveness and responsibility, and that the

town reserved the right to accept or reject any bid in the best interests of the

town. The bidders were thanked for their participation, and the bid was

declared closed at 10:04 AM.
