|
The City of Dubuque Water Department is requesting bids for the purchase and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite. The initial term of the contract will be for one year after award of the contract. The contract may be extended by written mutual agreement by the City and the vendor.
The Sodium Hypochlorite to be supplied shall be highest quality, freshly made, shall contain between 15-20 percent available chlorine (and preferably 15.3%) by weight, and be suitable for use in the treatment of potable water. The product shall meet or exceed the provisions of the American Water Works Association Standard for Hypochlorite’s (ANSI/AWWA B300-10) and all subsequent revisions or corrections).
