The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive proposals for Snow Melting Services. Airfield Maintenance is responsible for clearing snow from aircraft ramps, taxiways, and runways at CVG. Due to the lack of space and the current construction on the ramps, Airfield Maintenance no longer has an area to pile snow and leave it until it melts. Due to the amount of space needed for the movement and parking of aircraft it is necessary to melt snow during the winter season. Snow melting services will be used to melt accumulated snow primarily on the CVG ramp areas around Concourses A & B.
