The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive proposals for Solid Runway & Taxiway Deicing/Anti-Icing Compound. Solid runway and taxiway deicing/anti-icing compound is utilized during winter operations to provide improved pavement conditions for aircraft and vehicles on runways, runway turn offs, ramp taxilanes, and gate positions. This material primarily will be used during freezing rain or icing conditions in conjunction with liquid deicer to provide improved pavement conditions.
