Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, responses to the University's prequalification documents for a CM@Risk contract are sought from prospective prime contractor bidders (hereafter “bidders”) for the following project:
Renovation of a recently acquired 170,000-gross-square-foot (gsf) two-story life sciences building at 5210 Pacific Concourse Drive in unincorporated Los Angeles County. This adaptive reuse project will create a Sports Medicine Institute; will relocate an off-campus UCLA Clinical Microbiology Laboratory; and will create a community fill pharmacy and specialty pharmacy. The 9.2-acre site includes parking and infrastructure. Built in 2002, the existing concrete tilt-up building includes floor plates of approximately 80,000 gsf each, 15-foot ceilings, two passenger elevators, and one freight elevator. The project will renovate the building in its entirety to address both the immediate and future needs of various units within UCLA Health. Renovations will include utility systems, safety and security upgrades, and compliance with both the Americans with Disabilities Act and the University of California Policy on Sustainable Practices.
