Crites Park Concessionaire

The City of Festus is accepting sealed bids for a concessionaire/ operator for the Crites Park Ballfield Complex. The concessionaire will be awarded a 1 year contract, which will be reviewable yearly by the Festus Park Board.

A flat fee per year will be required for the use of the concession building. The concessionaire must obtain all necessary health and sanitation permits, along with all state, county and city licenses and proper insurance coverage. Concessionaire must operate on Saturdays from 11am-6pm 1st Saturday in May through the 3rd Saturday in October plus from 4-11p on the Friday and Saturday of the Firecracker Festival (June 26 & 27, 2026). This is the bare minimum to be open.  Concessionaire/operator would be able to be open more than this at their discretion. This contract does not include the remainder of the Crites Park grounds nor any other city park or concession stand.

All sealed bids are due Friday, April 3, 2026 at 2p.m. at Festus Public Works, 950 N Fifth Street, Festus, MO 63028, at which time a public opening of the bids will be. The City of Festus reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any irregularities with regard to the bidding process. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the highest and best, responsive, responsible Bidder; based on the sole determination of the city.
