CONDUIT AND FIBER OPTIC CABLE INSTALLATION

RFP# CCDIT2026-01

The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Technology, are accepting contractor bids for the Conduit and Fiber Optic Cable Installation at North County DES Stations . Work is generally described as follows:

Installation of approximately two thousand two hundred (2,200) feet of one and one quarter (1.25) inch underground conduit with accompanying twelve (12) count fiber-optic cable.

This proposal is for the underground installation and supply of 1 1/4” (inch) SDR HDPE conduit, including all necessary vaults, and pulling twelve (12) strands of County supplied fiber optic cable with vendor supplied 10 AWG solid core, continuous bond tracer wire along four (4) separate routes in northern Caroline County. All routes are in Ridgely, MD, Greensboro, MD and Goldsboro, MD. All routes will include installation of conduit, fiber, tracer wire, and necessary vaults. A Google Earth (.kmz) file will be provided to show approximate installation locations.

Bids must be received in the offices of the Caroline County Commissioners, located at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629, ATTENTION: Nicole Pearce , by no later than 10:00 a.m., 6/29/2026 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
