ADU Pilot Program RFP

The City of Charlotte is seeking qualified builders to participate in its ADU Pilot Program by constructing a single-family home and detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) on one or more City-owned parcels. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is part of a limited-scope pilot designed to test and inform the development of a broader ADU program in the future. The pilot supports the City’s goal of increasing affordable housing options through innovative, small-scale development. Builders may submit proposals for one or more sites, and selected proposals will demonstrate thoughtful design, cost-efficiency, and alignment with current zoning requirements.
