1. Project Overview
The City of Newton, Iowa is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for supply of materials and erection of a 40' x 80' post frame building to be constructed on a monolithic concrete foundation (under separate contract) for the Newton Public Safety Storage Building, to be located at 500 West 7th Street North, Newton, Iowa.
The construction is a 40' x 80' post-frame storage building with 14' high sidewalls and a pitched roof. The engineer of record (EOR) has prepared engineering of the building. The City of Newton will serve as the general contractor.
