The Request for Quote (RFQ) number for this requirement will be: SPRTA1-26-Q-0255
This requirement is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
The RFQ: SPRTA1-26-Q-0255, will be made available for viewing on www.beta.sam.gov website.
Potential offers are encouraged to submit offers via email to the email address listed on the FrontPage of the RFQ.
Government intends to solicit and compete with only a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Currently GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY (CAGE code 07482) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
Since General Electric Company is currently the only approved source a letter request for proposal will be posted. The link to the technical data package is attached to this synopsis. Qualification requirements apply. Contract award will be made only if the product/service, manufacturer, or source meets the qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested offerors are encouraged to submit Source Approval Requests (SARs) as soon as possible as the Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending SARs. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR package upon contract award, then the SAR will be retained, and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICATION. If competition is received a revised solicitation will be posted to include Sections L and M and the first article requirements.
IAW FAR 5.202(a)(13) this requirement is not required to be synopsized.
