The Crawfordsville Redevelopment Commission hereby gives notice that it will receive sealed bids for the above described “Project” at the offices of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 East Pike Street, Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933 (City Building) until 8:15 a.m. EST and in the Council Chambers at the same address between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. EST on 18 March 2025, and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers of the City Building. No late bids will be accepted.
All bids and proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal forms provided with the specifications, which will include the non-collusion affidavit as request by the State of Indiana. The bid envelope must be sealed and have the words “BID—CRAWFORDSVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION: LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE SERVICES.”
The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: The City of Crawfordsville, Indiana, is issuing this bid request to identify a qualified contractor responsible for furnishing all materials, supplies, labor, equipment, and tools required to provide landscape maintenance services in the Crawfordsville Commerce Park.
Specification Documents for the Project have been assembled and are attached to this bid request. The specifications may also be examined in person or requested electronically at the following location:
Bidders must assure that they have obtained complete sets of specifications and assume the risk of any errors or omissions in bids prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of specifications.
Bids must be properly executed on Form No. 96 – Revised 2013, as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts – accompanied by the Project Bid Proposal Form. A bidding party’s financial statement required in Form 96 must reflect conditions not over four months before the bid date.
Under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Slat, 252, 42 U.S.0 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Sub Title A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued under such Act, the City notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into under this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
All bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Crawfordsville Redevelopment Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive, to the extent permitted by the laws of the State of Indiana, any terms and conditions or provisions in the specifications or any informality, irregularity, omission of any bid provided that such waiver shall, at the Commission’s discretion.
Bids may be withdrawn before, but no bidder may withdraw its bid for 30 days after the bid openings.
