Downstate NEVI DCFC Program

Description of goods to services to be bid:

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) seeks proposals to develop Direct Current Fast Charging
(DCFC) Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) along Alternative Fuel Corridors (AFCs) in New York State south of I-84, including the areas
of New York City, Long Island, and the Lower Hudson Valley using up to $28.5 million of the federal formula funding under the NEVI program.
This program is intended to reduce the cost of purchasing and installing DCFC Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for use in New York
State and ultimately accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption. By increasing the use of EVs and EV chargers, this program benefits New York
State by reducing harmful emissions and the transportation sector’s dependence on petroleum.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

All incorporated entities are eligible to apply unless a state or federal restriction would prevent the award of federal funds to the entity. These
restrictions can include debarment, operations in Russia in violation of Executive Order 16, or other disqualifying factors. The primary proposer
shall be the entity that will own the installed EV charging stations. Either the EVSE owner, the EVSE network operator, or the EVSE maintenance
provider must be able to demonstrate that they have experience operating, and/or providing networking services to, and/or providing maintenance
service through long-term service agreements to at least 10 DCFC for at least 2 years.
