Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement for Colorado River Education Services
Request for Quote No. 140R3025Q0028
This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin, Boulder Canyon Operations Office has a requirement to obtain services related to the Colorado River such as education services, produce and distribute multiple in-depth online articles, create official conference proceedings from Colorado River Symposium, and develop and implement yearly river tour related to the Colorado River. The services shall be completed, on-site, on the Colorado River and at Water Education Foundation locations.
The only company known to be able to perform these services is Water Education Foundation, 2151 River Plaza DR STE 205, Sacramento, CA, 95833-4129. The NAICS for this action 813312 entitled "Environment Conservation and Wildlife Organizations," which has a small business size standard of $19.5 Mil average annual receipts.
Award is anticipated on 03/07/2025 with service beginning on 03/10/2025 through 12/31/2025. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed price type order.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services in the specified location. Submissions are due by 03/06/2025.
The Purchase Order award information and the Justification and Approval for using noncompetitive procedures will be posted on SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/home.
