Description

1. Introduction

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has an upcoming requirement for toner and printer consumables. This Market Survey Announcement is used to identify potential business sources that are capable and interested in supporting the Strategic Sourcing for the Acquisition of Various Equipment and Supplies (SAVES) program and to gather information for planning purposes only.



The period of performance for this requirement is a one (1) year base period plus four (4) one (1) year option periods. Currently, the FAA is targeting an anticipated award date in February 2026. This requirement will be Brand Name or Equal.



2. Nature of Competition

The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey.



3. Disclaimer

• This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind.

• The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.

• The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey.

• Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor’s expense.



4. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code

The anticipated NAICS code for this effort is 325992 – Photographic Film, Paper, Plate, and Chemical Manufacturing and the corresponding size standard is 1500 employees.



5. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey

The FAA is seeking industry’s expertise and assistance in identifying industry best practices to be considered and key inputs the FAA needs to consider for this anticipated procurement. Please review the attachments and provide any questions and/or comments.



Any other assumptions, concerns, or questions may also be submitted in response to this Market Survey.



Please ensure your response includes the following information:

• Capability description - Explain your company's ability to provide all toner requirements in accordance with the attached SOW and Printer Consumables List.

• Company name, point of contact, address, phone number, email address, and website.

• Business size status, i.e. Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (includes SEDB 8 (a) Certified Vendors), Women Owned Small Business WOSB (includes Economically Disadvantaged (ED) WOSB, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

• Verification of active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) including the company Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number.



6. Delivery of Submittal

Submittals to this Market Survey shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist at kay.f.morello@faa.gov no later than May 23, 2025, by 2:00 PM ET.
