REQUIREMENT
60 MXS/MXMFN has a requirement for periodic maintenance on the FF85 CT System located at 350 Ragsdale St (Bldg 803, Rm 105 Southend), Travis AFB, CA 94535.According to the Statement of Work This maintenance is crucial to prevent dust contamination within the system's two high-energy X-ray tube heads, as dust can damage the filaments. Maintenance ensures the integrity of the tube heads' vacuum seals. The periodic maintenance will be every 6 months with a more extensive inspection annually. Also, emergency troubleshooting visits should be included. The personnel working on this equipment must be qualified to work on the FF85 CT system.

This Sources Sought is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services.
This Request for Information (RFI) Sources Sought does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue a future RFQ. This Sources Sought does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued.
