EMERGENCY REPAIR OF REFRIGERANT LEAK TO DAIKINI/MCQUAY CHILLER

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Acquisition & Grants Office (AGO), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has issued an Emergency Delivery Order under 1333MF25F0021, under GSA FSS Contract GS07F0377V.

On March 4, 2025, A Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order was issued to Daikin Applied Americas, Inc (UEI: UMD4HJ2PR8D6), in the amount of $26,259.25. This action was executed under the existing GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract GS07F0377. The delivery order provides for emergency repair of a refrigeration leak and recharge of a 250-ton Daikini/Mcquay chiller which is the heart of the HVAC system at the Mississippi Laboratory.

This action was not competitively selected due to the compelling urgency, as authorized by FAR 6.302-2. Delay in procurement would have resulted in disruption of mission-critical operations. The award was also issued to the single source provider. The order leverages pre-negotiated FSS pricing and terms, ensuring fair and reasonable costs.
