The State University of New York at SUNY DOWNSTATE HEALTH SCIENCES UNIVERSITY will receive sealed bids from project number RFQ 2555/141218-00 titled Central Receiving Alterations for Central Sterile Supplies Warehouse until ­­­April 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM (EST).

Brief Project Background

State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University (“SUNY Downstate,” “Downstate,” “DHSU,” and “The University”) is seeking qualifications from consultant design firms/teams for full professional architectural / engineering services to renovate the existing Central Receiving Department and related support spaces to create an improved receiving area and a new Central Sterile Supply (CSS) Warehouse. While the primary impetus of the Project is to provide space for the Campus’ medical and general supplies that that will lead to the efficient storage and distribution of all items, the services necessarily include surveying existing conditions and documentation, and potential reconfiguration of existing areas.

IMPORTANT DATES/TIMELINE

Mandatory Walk-Through: 03/13/2025 at 11:00 a.m. We will meet in the lobby of

450 Clarkson Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11203. Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the

scheduled time to go through campus screening.

Only firms that attend the mandatory Walk-Through can submit a proposal. If your

team plans on attending, provide the names and email addresses of personnel

wishing to attend the site by 03/10/2025.

RFI (Request for Information) are to be submitted in writing via email to sophia.brinnius@downstate.edu no later than March 20, 2025 at 3:00pm.

RFI responses will be posted on the New York Contract Reporter’s website on April 8, 2025.

Bid Proposals are due on April 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM (EST)

The Bid Opening will take place on April 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM (EST)
