2025 Road Milling & Paving Bid

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Upper Uwchlan Township is accepting Bids to perform Roadway Milling and Paving for 2025. Proposals must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2025 ROAD MILLING AND PAVING PROPOSAL”, prior to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 by the Township Secretary, Upper Uwchlan Township, 140 Pottstown Pike, Chester Springs, PA 19425 accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price.

Bids will be publicly opened and read on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the township building in the schoolhouse. The bid specifications, summarized, include approximately 9,579 S.Y. of milling work (edges only) and approximately 4,470 tons of paving (1.5 inch thick 9.5mm Superpave bituminous concrete) and approximately 10 tons of leveling course (as needed). A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be required from the successful bidder.

Bids may be awarded at the Board of Supervisors Meeting Monday, May 19, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. or subsequent meeting as determined to be in the best interest of Upper Uwchlan Township.
