ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed proposals will be received on selected Bid Packages for the MSD FENCING IMPROVEMENTS for the MARION SCHOOL DISTRICT in MARION, ARKANSAS. The Construction Manager/General Contractor, A & R Construction, LLC, will receive bids at the School Board office located at 200 Manor, Marion, AR. 72364, on Thursday, December 12th, 2024, 11:00 AM LOCAL TIME.
Once the time to receive bids has past, bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids offered after the time to receive bids has past will not be accepted.
The following Trade Contract Bid Packages will be bid at this time:
1. Fencing
Obtaining contract documents through any source other than the Construction Manager/General Contractor or their representative(s) is not advisable due to the risks of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information. Contract documents obtained through the Construction Manager or their representative(s) are considered the official versions and take precedence should any discrepancies occur. The official version of the complete set of the contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from A and R Construction, LLC, 2827 Farrisview Blvd, Memphis, TN 38118, Phone: (901) 334-1375, email: btranum@a-rconstructioncompany.com .
A 5% Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check is required on bids that exceed $20,000. Trade Contract Bids must include the cost of your Performance Bond and Payment Bond. Successful Trade Contract bidders will be required to furnish the Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the contractor’s standard bond forms for all bids that exceed $50,000.
Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors, and shall be licensed before a bid is submitted.
Both the Owner and Construction Manager/General Contractor reserve the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities.
