Description: NYSDEC Division of Air Resources (DAR), Bureau of Air Quality Surveillance (BAQS) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of air monitoring equipment, as specified in this IFB. This is to augment the existing air monitoring network. BAQS maintains a network of air monitors throughout the state and reports the data to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the public via the NYSDEC website and the USEPA Air Quality System (AQS) database. This monitoring is required by USEPA through the Clean Air Act. Air quality instrumentation must be maintained and updated to guarantee that the data generated is valid and complete.
