Release Date: 2/17/2026
Due Date: 4/6/2026
The City of Santa Fe is seeking bids for the provision of Security Guard Services through qualified security firms to provide armed and unarmed security guards throughout the Buckman Direct Diversion facility. .
The Buckman Direct Diversion (BDD) facility is a vital reginal water supply facility serving both the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County. As a critical component of the area's drinking water infrastructure, BDD requires continuous monitoring and protection to ensure uninterrupted operations, public safety, and regulatory compliance.
Given its location, remote access points, and the importance of securing both staff and infrastructure, BDD has historically contracted private security guard services to maintain a constant presence at the facility.
Security personnel are responsible for monitoring facility access, conducting patrols, securing entry points, maintaining detailed visitor logs, and reporting any incidents or concerns. Their role is integral to support the staff and secure the facility.
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) seeks qualified firms to provide professional security guard services on a 24/7 basis. The selected vendor will be expected to provide reliable, trained personnel who understand the importance of safeguarding a critical water treatment facility and who can operate in accordance with BDD's specific protocols and coordination needs.
