This requirement is considered for a sole source award by the contracting officer due to the technical and proprietary nature of the equipment and supporting software that can only be provided by the OEM and/or their authorized representatives. A sources sought was sent out on 2/5/2026 for all small business venders to state if they could provide the equipment and supporting software required to meet this requirement, only one of the few responses that were received for this sources sought provided the information required in accordance with the sources sought.
Another consideration for any contract award is price reasonableness which the contracting officer has to make a determination based upon any available pricing information that was discovered during the market research stage of the pre-solicitation process. The contracting officer is under no obligation to award to any small business regardless of their socioeconomic status if the contracting officer based upon market research has determined that the best value to the government would be to award to other than a small business.
Please direct any reply if you are interested and can provide the required product/service for this requirement. Please provide your capability statement, letter of supply/ distribution. I will accept responses for this Sources Sought until the 26th of February 2026 14:00, thanks. Service and Operator Manuals The Contractor shall provide the following documentation for the proposed systems: Two (2) copies of operator instruction manuals (one (1) electronic and one (1) physical copy)Two (2) copies of service manuals (one (1) electronic and one (1) physical copy)
Minimum Warranty The system and accessories shall be covered under the manufacturer s warranty and shall include all parts and labor for the agreed upon time between Dexcom and the Bay Pines VAHCS.
