Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier to provide an owner-operated restaurant for The University of Georgia (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. The location will be 100% self-operated by the awarded supplier. The supplier will maintain all responsibility for all facets of the operation, including product sourcing, inventory management, staffing, customer service, recipe and menu management, health and safety guideline adherence, internal branding, and quality assurance.
This solicitation will result in a single contract award to the highest-scoring proposal received from the responsive and responsible bidders. The contract will be for one year initially with the option for four annual renewals based on the parties mutual discretion.
