The contractor shall provide all supervision, management, personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and any other items necessary to complete The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the plans and specification to a) Remove north three story porches except the far northwest porches, b) repair and paint wood porch structure and railings and replace the roof on the northwest porches, c) replace some wood structure and trim on the south porches, d) replace downspouts and eaves around the building, and e) tuckpoint and replace historic 8” brick around
the building.
Brick Replacement and Repair – Replace approximately 176 historic (true 8” long) brick units around the building, virtually all on Floor 1 level with a few on Floor 2, replace approximately 7,000 historic brick units (1,000 SF) in the center of Floor 3 virtually all above the floor line to the roof. Tuckpoint approximately 280 SF of brick joints around the building. Cut-in two (2) new brick
expansion joints in the Floor 1 south brick arcade immediately adjacent to the center south brick section without porches. Route out and seal two (2) full height brick cracks in two columns on the Floor 1 south arcade.
