Bids on the referenced project will be received by the County Administrator in the Greene County Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, Virginia 22973 until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, Thursday, October 9, 2025, and then publicly opened.
Bids may be withdrawn using the procedure set forth in Virginia Code § 2.2-4330 B.1.
The project will consist of the following work:

Demolition of existing sludge lagoon, lagoon fencing and attendant piping

New raw water river intake structure and piping
-
New 8.0 MGD raw water pump station building with wetwell, pumps, piping and fittings, and electrical mechanical and plumbing systems

Site grading and drainage improvements

Wet well drain piping
-
305 LF of new 30-inch raw water line to include valves and fittings

Related incidental work
The County will award the contract on a lump sum bid basis.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Greene County Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, Virginia.
