The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), Operations Directorate, Airfield Pavement Evaluation (APE) Branch, Tyndall AFB, FL, has a requirement to provide airfields and/or roads and parking pavement surface condition evaluations and corresponding analysis and deliverables at various locations across the Air Force enterprise.
The contractor shall provide site evaluation and analysis in support of infrastructure condition assessments. The contractor shall provide technical expertise, labor, travel and all materials required to verify and/or update the pavement inventory and conduct American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) level pavement condition index (PCI) inspections to document specific distresses on the airfields and/or roads and parking areas at the installations in accordance with (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) (RFQ Attachment 1). As part of this effort, the contractor will create or update the PAVER pavement management system database, generate PCI/data tables/deliverables for use as planning data for maintenance, repair, and construction, and generate a separate deliverable package for the airfield and/or the roads and parking networks for each of the sites as outlined in the PWS.
