Data Transfer Units, Removable Storage Modules, and Docking Station Cables in Support of the V-22 Aircraft

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275) awarded a firm-fixed price Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001924G0003 to Mercury Mission Systems, LLC., 1845 W 205th St, Torrance, CA 90501 on a sole source basis for the procurement of Data Transfer Units, Removable Storage Modules, and Docking Station Cables under the Mercury Mission Systems, LLC. BOA. The Delivery Order is in-scope to the terms of the Basic Contract for procurement and delivery of the Data Transfer Units, Removable Storage Modules, and Docking Station Cables in support of the V-22 Aircraft. This action was awarded on a sole source basis to Mercury Mission Systems, LLC. in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Mercury Mission Systems, LLC. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Data Transfer Unit and Removable Storage Module and is the only responsible source with the necessary access to the technical data and requisite expertise to perform the contemplated effort within the required schedule.
