This USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service construction requirement is to resurface several epoxy floors at Moore Air Base in Edinburg, Texas.
Background:
Building 6417 at Moore Air Base is a Mexican Fruit Fly Containment Lab. The Mexican Fruit Fly Program is charged with the eradication of Mexican Fruit Flies from the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas and the northern municipalities of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
This project will be set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business firms only. The NAICS code is 238330 – Flooring Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
