The City of Tucson, on behalf of the Tucson Police Department (TPD), is soliciting proposals from qualified locksmiths with demonstrated experience in safe and lockbox entry. Services will be on an as-needed basis, with frequency varying from minimal to multiple calls per year.
The Tucson Police Department occasionally receives safes and lockboxes as part of ongoing investigations. These items must be opened without damaging their contents, as they may contain critical evidence. The City now seeks to contract with specialized Offerors who have expertise in non-destructive safe and lockbox entry.
