1. This notice is posted IAW FAR 5.203 “Publicizing and response time.” The Government intends to release a solicitation on or after 15 days from the date this notice for the requirement below. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
2. This is a pre-solicitation notice/synopsis for a design-build. The contractor (Ktr) shall provide 35%, 65%, and 100% design services and construction with labor, materials, and supervision to demolish and replace/upgrade existing Fire Alarm with new Fire Alarm System (FAS) including but not limited to affected appurtenances. The new Fire Alarm system will replace and consolidate the four existing FACPs fire alarm system. The FACP shall be non-proprietary; meaning that the FACP shall be completely programmable using buttons in-house by Travis AFB personnel, without a manufacturer or third-party technician present.
3. The solicitation shall be publicized through the Government-wide point of entry on SAM.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered with SAM.gov.
