CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK. The City of Vadnais Heights requests qualification information in order to evaluate and select a Construction Manager at Risk for the renovation and expansion of the South Fire Station, located at 3595 Arcade Street. The current 20,000/sf station is 35 years old, and no longer meets the needs of VHFD’s staffing model, which includes 43 full-time and part-time fire staff working daytime and overnight shifts 24/7. The proposed redesign will add approximately 15,000/sf added to the first, second levels, and mezzanine with a proposed building footprint of 25,000/sf, and total square footage of almost 40,000.
