Project: Replace Condensate Lines and Pump Construction
Project Number: 585-21-113
Location: 325 E. H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801-4760
The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center has a requirement for the construction of project # 585-21-113 to Replace Condensate Lines and Pump construction.
The Scope of Work for this project includes all labor, superintendence, materials, tools,
equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and
other items designated under the provisions of this contract for the Replace condensate
Lines and Pumps 585-21-113 at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center located in
Iron Mountain, Michigan as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the
contract drawings. Work includes remove, resize, and replace condensate steam lines,
pumps, PRVs, add bypass lines, replace HPC traps, associated asbestos, replace 6
steam valve coming from 8 MPS header in sub-basement and other aspects of
construction as required by the drawings and specifications. Installation shall be as
outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the drawings.
Period of Performance is 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 15 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance are provided.
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors with a size standard $19.0 million applies
Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a

(2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and

SAM.gov CONTRACTING OPPORTUNTIES on, or about January 12, 2026. A pre-bid site conference and a site walk-through for this solicitation are tentatively scheduled for the week of January 19, 2026 (exact time and location shall be provided with the formal solicitation package).
