Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of low‑level radioactive waste (LLRW) brokering, transport, and disposal services from Thomas Gray & Associates, Inc. (TGA) as a sole source because of the uniqueness of the services. The contractor must be a licensed low‑level radioactive waste broker authorized by the State of Washington, with demonstrated expertise in complying with the requirements of the Northwest Interstate Compact, including legal transport, manifesting, treatment coordination, and final disposal of LLRW at approved federal facilities. The contractor must also possess the capability to directly manage end‑to‑end disposal services without subcontracting, including access to preferred disposal site agreements and the ability to consolidate waste streams for cost‑effective and compliant disposal. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03‑010, Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at
