Department Description
The Community Development Department (CDD) is one of eleven departments making up the municipal government. CDD’s mission is “to ensure the public safety, health, and welfare of the community by serving and assisting the public with various development-related projects, including safe building construction, ongoing compliance with life safety codes, economic development, and land use planning”.
CDD is led by a Director and Assistant Director. CDD’s core services include planning, engineering, building, code enforcement, permitting, and public health.
