STATEMENT OF WORK
The EMG instrument itself will be located in the Pain Clinic and used specifically by the Pain Clinic provider which sees all types of Veterans that benefit from this particular type of medical testing to help diagnose and treat a variety of Veterans with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputee patients and Veterans with chronic pain.
The EMG will be used for Veterans within the Sheridan VAHCS catchment area and will not be used at other facilities or CBOCs. Veteran will be seen at the Sheridan VA for EMG services.
1. Specific Tasks.
1.1.1 Subtask 1 Physical InfrastructureRequirements
Personnel are not authorized nor will perform any perforation of walls, floors or
ceilings, the customer agrees to have resources available during the installation to complete
these tasks.
Installed areas are accessible and available at 8am on the first day of the planned installation. Access to review stations if required.
Equipment onsite and placed in installation area by 8am on the first day of the planned installation.
Site responsible for the disposal of all packaging material associated with their order.
1.1.2 Subtask 2 - Training
Training time reserved for:
· Users
· Physicians
· Nurses
Training room or space reserved
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
Salient specs:
True Digital, 3 channel Amplifier with option up to 4 channels.
The only EMG system that integrates with the Invisus Pro Ultrasound system
HD EMG - More data points (pixels) on waveforms provides more accurate findings.
Full Cart based EMG makes portability easy.
The ONLY EMG system on the market to utilize leading Synergy or Viking software.
Programmable footswitch supports hands-free operation.
On-screen help provides immediate assistance reducing the need for technical support.
Can be scaled in the future to add things like Single Fiber EMG, Reflex Hammer, Evoked Potentials etc All with simple software upgrades.
Control of system software can be done through stimulator, control panels, or keyboard simultaneously.
Windows 10, 64 bit compatible
Software will allow you to view current and past visits or even different nerves/muscles on one screen for comparison.
Extended Live Play (recording) of EMG data for review.
Graphical/anatomical selection of tests (Select Test)
