Morgantown Bike Skills Pump Track

Sealed bids for the construction of Morgantown’s Bike Skills Pump Track Project will be received by the City of Morgantown at the office of the Finance Director until 3:00 p.m. on November 6,  2025, local prevailing time; at which time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read  aloud. All bidders must provide documentation to show they are qualified and have a successful  history of building skateparks and pump tracks. Experience with general concrete or paving  projects is not a suitable substitute. A two-envelope system will be used – see project manual for  details.

The project generally consists of site preparation and construction of a concrete skatepark  including a halfpipe and a mini-ramp, a series of asphaltic concrete bike skills features such as progressive jumps and bank returns, accessible pathways, seating, parking and a bike repair  stand below Whitemore Park, along Deckers Creek Trail near Valley Crossing. This project is  being funded, either wholly or partly, with a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant and the  project and contractor shall be subject to all terms and conditions of the grant award.

There will be an Pre-bid meeting on October 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM in City Council Chambers, 389  Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Attendance at the pre-bid conference and site visits are highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
