CIP PS 27-01 - 2026 Annual Micro-Surfacing

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for its 2026 ANNUAL MICRO-SURFACING PROJECT, CIP PS 27-01. (“Project”), at City of Lathrop, California (“City”). Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lathrop, located at 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA until Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 2 PM. Bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to: City of Lathrop, Attention City Clerk, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA 95330 and conform to Submission of Bids standards within this Section. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to crack sealing, removal of existing, replacement in kind and installing of updated traffic markers and thermoplastic striping and markings, placement of approximately 170,000 square yards of Type II micro-surfacing with Black Rock, and performing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use, all as described in the Project Specifications, as shown in Attachment A - Map of Streets for 2026 Annual Micro-Surfacing, CIP PS 27-01, as listed on Attachment B – List of Streets for 2026 Annual Micro-Surfacing, CIP PS 27-01, and as shown in Attachment C - Map and Detail Exhibit for Striping Modifications.

DIR Registration. Bidder must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no exceptions. Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, all Subcontractors identified in a Bidder’s Subcontractors’ List shall be DIR Registered Contractors. If awarded the Contract for the Work, at all times during performance of the Work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors, of any tier, shall be a DIR Registered Contractors.

The City of Lathrop does not sell copies of the plans and specifications, but they may be purchased through ARC at https://www.e-arc.com/location/stockton/ . Each Bid Proposal submitted to the City must be submitted in accordance with the instructions and requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
