The City of Takoma Park, Maryland is requesting sealed proposals for a qualified Construction Contractor for the Takoma Park Police Entrance Renovation and Atrium Close-in project, hereinafter called the “Project”. The site location is 7500 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park, Maryland 20912.

All prospective bidders for the Takoma Park Police Entrance Renovation and Atrium Close-in project must complete an application for special pre-qualification. The Invitation for Bid will be forwarded only to those firms that have been prequalified for this project. Only applicants that have been pre-qualified in accordance with this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be allowed to submit bids on this contract. Bids received by those who have not been pre-qualified under the terms of this RFQ will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

The City of Takoma Park plans to complete the prequalification process by mid-August 2026. Distribution of bidding documents is scheduled for August 11, 2026. This schedule is subject to change.
