Solicitation Summary
The City is seeking sealed Proposals for supplemental snow removal services on an as-needed basis for fiscal years 2027 through 2029.
The City is responsible for maintaining more than ninety-two (92) center line miles of City streets. The State of Maryland is responsible for maintaining all numbered roads such as Routes 28, 117, 119, 124 and 355, while Montgomery County is responsible for maintaining streets such as Muddy Branch Road, Diamondback Drive and portions of Longdraft Road. Additionally, there are private streets maintained by homeowners’ associations and, occasionally, streets maintained by developers until a development is
complete.
