Project Description: The City of Tempe seeks to contract with a qualified Event Producer to plan, produce, and manage a gated and ticketed July 4th Festival. This celebration will include entertainment, food/beverage, a fireworks and/or drone show, and community activities. The selected Event Producer will be responsible for coordinating all operational, logistical, and compliance-related aspects of the event. The Event Producer selected through this RFP will be responsible for producing a July 4th Festival in July 2026. This festival will be notable as the United States will celebrate its semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) on July 4, 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The term of the Contract shall be for a period of 2 years. The City at its option may renew the Contract for a maximum of 3 additional years. Allowing for a maximum Contract term of 5 years.
