The Town of Peace River is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering consulting firms to update its 2010 Utility Master Plan for the Town’s water distribution system. The work will include assessment of the existing water distribution system, updating and calibrating the hydraulic water model, evaluating current and future system capacity and development needs, identifying deficiencies and required infrastructure improvements, developing servicing concepts and conceptual costs, and preparing a 15-year capital improvement plan with priorities.
Additional Requirements
Examine existing infrastructure capacity and functionality.
Determine existing system capacity and ability to support future development.
Determine current demands, system condition and regulatory requirements.
Review available planning information.
Evaluate and prioritize improvements to existing infrastructure.
Evaluate future demands based on projected development, growth patterns and population projections.
Provide conceptual design requirements and cost estimates for identified deficiencies. Provide an updated water distribution system model. Provide boundary design conditions for new development areas.
Develop a 15-year capital improvement plan with priorities and triggers for improvements. Provide guidance on operation and maintenance of existing infrastructure.
Provide draft and final reports and all collected project data.
