TO BIDDERS AND PLAN HOLDERS ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT: PLEASE NOTE CONTENTS HEREIN AND INCLUDE, SIGNED, WITH YOUR BID SUBMISSION.

NOTICE

It will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:

1. Question:    Please provide specifications for dma8 anchors for vinyl wall.

Answer:  See note 3b on the plans – “use Crane Materials Inc. tieback anchors…”; a copy of the detail is attached for reference. Please note that this is a basis of design and approved equals may be considered. 2. Question:  Do the timber retaining walls have tieback anchors?

Answer:  No, only the vinyl sheet pile walls have tiebacks.

3. Question:    Is there a plumbing plan which shows supply lines for Hose Bibb detail shown on sheet C401 of civil plans or are existing hose bibbs to remain?

Answer:  Only the hose bibs on the proposed pull-through sites – sites 54 and 67 – are to be moved. See updated plan sheets C103 and C207. 4. Question: Will FDEP provide archeological monitoring for ground disturbing activities, or will it be the responsibility of the contractor?

Answer:  Per the included documents – specifically, the DHR consultation letter – Archeological Resource Management (ARM) monitoring is recommended. ARM monitoring will be provided by park staff for relevant ground-disturbing activities.

5. Question:  Do you have a schedule of values from the engineer?

Answer:  No schedule of values from the engineer is available. It is incumbent upon the contractor to structure their bid respective the bid documents

6. Question:  Will Davis Bacon be required?

Answer:  This project is not federally funded. However, it is incumbent upon the contractor to comply with all relevant state and local laws and regulations governing their field.

In all other respects, the contract documents of which this is an Addendum, and attachments relative thereto, shall remain in full force and effect.
