SCOPE OF WORK
Complete in a professional manner the ROOD HALL BUS STOP SITE IMPROVEMENTS, per specifications and plans. The Scope of the work is to construct the new Rood Hall Bus Stop on the Western Michigan University Campus for METRO Transit.
The project work includes the removal of the existing concrete bus pads, which currently house three bus shelters. Note that the bus shelters and the benches will be removed by others in advance of this construction project. The project includes grading the area to place a granular material subbase surface to prepare the area for concrete. The Contractor will place the foundations for the bus shelters and bike shelter. The Contractor will place the concrete pad to receive the bus and bike shelters. The Contractor will place soil erosion and sediment control as required and will restore the topsoil and establish turf in the disturbed areas.
Areas noted on Phase 2 will be included in the work if funding permits.
Phase 2 areas are shown for information only. Phase 2 areas may be added or may be a part of a future project. Phase 2 areas include similar work as noted above. Phase 2 work includes the removal of the turf and mulch surface. The Phase 2 project includes grading the area to place a granular material subbase surface to prepare the area for concrete. Place the Phase 2 area concrete sidewalk.
