Project: 7199-26/TAD – Public Works Minor Construction Projects Less Than $7,500,000.00

Scope of Work: Seminole County is seeking Five (5) Contractors to perform minor construction projects valued at less than $7,500,000 for the Public Works Department. Authorization for performance of services by Contractors under this Contract shall be in the form of written Work Orders. Bids for Individual construction projects (Work Orders) will be solicited to all awardees with the award going to the lowest priced contractor who can meet the County’s scheduled start and completion dates. Work Orders will be awarded on bid unit price basis.

This contract will be for a three (3) year period and at the sole option of the parties, may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.

Bidders must be Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Prequalified in working classes:
7. Drainage – Includes all storm drains, pipe culverts, culverts, etc.
10. Flexible Paving – Includes lime rock and shell base and other optional base courses, soil-cemented base, mixed-in-place bituminous paving, bituminous surface treatments, and stabilizing.
11. Grading – Includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment.

Prime Contractor or Utilized Subcontractor shall be FDOT Prequalified in the following work class: 40. Retaining wall.

The Engineer’s estimate for the project is $10,000,000 annually
