ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS/PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Engineer, 51 East Market

Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, until 10:00 a.m. (Local Time) on January 22, 2026 and will be

opened and read immediately thereafter for the

CITY OF TIFFIN – 2026 STREET PAVING PROGRAM CONTRACT

OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST:

BASE BID - $1,200,000.00

ALTERNATE BID - $150,000.00

The scope of work for the Base Bid consists of asphalt street milling, re-paving, road

striping, and ADA sidewalk ramp installation on various streets throughout the City of Tiffin.

The scope of work for the Alternative Bid consists of the paving and striping of an existing City

parking lot as well as curb, sidewalk, and drive approach replacement along the parking lot’s

frontage.

The bid specifications, drawings, plan holders list, addenda, and other bid information

may be obtained from the City Engineer’s Office. Only electronic versions of the bidding

documents will be available. Electronic bidding documents will be provided to the plan holder at

no charge. All prime contractors bidding the project must obtain their plans and bidding

documents directly from the City Engineer’s Office and be plan holders with the City Engineer’s

Office. Bids must be in accordance with the specifications and on the forms available from the

City Engineer’s Office and must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked City of Tiffin – 2026

Street Paving Program.
