Solicitation Summary
Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) a nonprofit organization, on behalf of Arundel House of Hope, Inc., (Owner) is requesting bids from qualified contractors interested in completing a renovation project for the Bridges to Hope Transitional Housing Program property, located at
602 Crain Highway, Glen Burnie, Maryland, 21061
. The property was previously utilized as a short-term rental motel and will be transformed into a space to provide support and transitional housing to individuals experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County. Substantial demolition of fixtures, finishes, and MEP has previously been completed.
Bids will be accepted at the office of ACDS, 2666 Riva Rd., Suite 210, Annapolis, MD 21401 until Friday, May 9, 2025, 12:00 noon local time. County Affordable Housing Trust and prospective Maryland Energy Administration grant funds will be utilized for this project. The cost of this project is expected to range between $460,000 and $560,000.

A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interested parties receiving the Project Manual will be provided with the link for the virtual pre-bid meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to provide prospective responders with the opportunity to clarify any questions they may have regarding the project. All potential responders are requested to attend this meeting; however, attendance is not a requirement for submitting a bid. Information regarding an open-house site visit on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, will be provided during the virtual pre-bid meeting.
