Scope of Services
It is the intent of this Request for Proposals for Professional Services (PS) to select a single Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pre-qualified firm to provide Design Services for the Canoe Creek Road Widening Project. Scope of Service: Widen Canoe Creek Road from a rural 2-lane roadway to a divided, urban 4-lane roadway including four (4) signalized intersections, street lighting, a closed drainage system with ponds, and side street improvements. Project limits are from Deer Run Road to Pine Tree Drive (Old Canoe Creek Road) for a length of 1.88-miles, including the transitions south and north of these intersections. The design will follow the recommendations from the recently completed PD&E Study. The purpose of this section is to describe the scope of work and responsibilities of the CONSULTANT and the COUNTY in connection with design and preparation of a complete set of construction contract documents and incidental engineering services, as necessary for improvements to the transportation facility described herein. The CONSULTANT is responsible for providing services as defined in the Scope of Services as detailed in Attachment “R”.
