INTENT
It is the intent of these plans and specifications to provide for a contractor who shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform in a professional manner for the DWSRF Contract 1 Pump Station 5 & 14 Water & Transmission Mains project as described in the specifications and bid document.
INSTALLATION OF WATER MAIN AND FIBER OPTIC CABLE IN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY, INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF SERVICE LINES, AND ABANDONMENT OF EXISTING WATER MAINS. PROJECT INCLUDES INSTALLATION OF A FINISHED WATER MAIN AND RAW WATER MAIN. BOTH WATER MAINS SHALL BE INSTALLED CONCURRENTLY WITH FIBER OPTIC CABLES AND CONDUITS
SCOPE OF WORK
This contract includes, but is not limited to: All work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications for the installation of 12-inch water mains and fiber optic cables and conduits from 2045 Michigan Avenue to 2300 Henson Street, Kalamazoo, MI.
Work shall be complete by October 31, 2026.
