Description
This is a sources sought notice ONLY. This is not a request for proposals, quotations or bids. There will not be a solicitation, specification, or drawings available at this time. The Government intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for the ACMD Berm Reconstruction Project located in Ocean City, MD. This project will consist of dredging approximately 1.2M CY of sand from an offshore borrow area and placing it along roughly 8.3 miles of existing beach. The offshore borrow area is located approximately 7-8 miles offshore of Ocean City, MD, and is known as Weaver Shoals. The ACMD project purpose is to reduce the risk of damage to infrastructure in Ocean City, Maryland from coastal storms. This project does not include any work on the existing dune or seawall.
