Notice of Intent to Sole Source - One Way Cables

In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to PROLOGIC, INC DBA Ultra Intelligence and Communications.

The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to PROLOGIC, INC DBA Ultra Intelligence and Communications, 3903 Northdale BLVD # 110, Tampa, Florida, 33624-1864, United States. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Ultra Intelligence and Communications is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of One-Way Cable, 10' (120") (Labor, documentation, materials and shipping costs included), Part Number: UPL-1015-0033. One-Way Transfer Cables serve as the only NSA-approved cables to interconnect between SIPRNet and the Key Management Infrastructure Management Client (KMI MGC) equipment suite in support of a networked Intermediary Application (iApp) solution. These specialty cables establish the connection required between the CG’s SIPRNet workstations and the Key Management Infrastructure Management Client (KMI MGC) equipment suite required to transfer classified COMSEC keying material packages that are eventually loading into other equipment to establish the CG’s secure communications capabilities.

All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than (NLT) 10:00AM EST of Thursday, 15 May 2025.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
